A harbinger of things to come, should the proponents of the Brave New World of “competition” between public and voucher-funded private schools have their way. Did anyone really believe that public schools in such a scenario would remain quietly on the sidelines while the private schools touted their high test scores achieved by selective student admissions? Or even worse, failed to publish their test scores at all, as private schools have the right to do?
