One Way or the Other
A legislative task force will ruminate on whether to consolidate Mississippi’s 152 school districts into 82.
Meanwhile, voters in Maine will decide next month whether to scrap their school district consolidation law, which calls for 290 school districts to merge into 80.
If 82 school districts are better than 152, and 80 are better than 290, wouldn’t one be better than both? How about zero?
