Remember Lynn Cavall? She parlayed a misdemeanor campaign finance conviction while working for the Broward Teachers Union into a better job with the Palm Beach Classroom Teachers Association.

Now the Palm Beach Post adds the detail that she beat out 26 other applicants for the job. I can’t imagine what was on the other résumés.

The Post reports, “For her part, Cavall said she did not realize at the time she was reimbursed for the contribution that it was legally wrong but now understands the law better.”

That’s reassuring. Maybe there’s a slot open for Warren L. Williams somewhere.
