Oregon Education Association Professional Employees Reach Tentative Agreement

It took more than 16 months after the last contract expired, but the Oregon Education Association and its professional staffers finally negotiated a tentative agreement. The new deal runs through 2014, but doesn’t address some of the personnel issues that caused so much grief.

The associate staff union is still bargaining, but it’s likely a deal will be reached soon.
